  10. I can confirm that it does. Just make sure that your host file has your
  11. IP address and hostname in it.

  33. I am using Pathworks for DOS (TCP/IP) version, but I use LANMAN version of TSR and Lanman's
  34. WINSOCK.DLL. There are times I get the following error when I try to load a winsock
  35. application:

  37. "WINSOCK API Initialization Error"

  39. "There is not enough DOS memory to allocate DOS bufers for all sockets"
  40.  
  41. Question: Is there a way to tune 'protocol.ini' to get more buffers allocated for the sockets
  42.         before starting windows?
